1. When authors and reader match the comprehension of the passage is easily understood. For the readers to process the article they must be able to make connection with their prior background history of the subject. Also, be able to ask internal question in regards to the topic and make inferences on what the author means in the passage that was read. The reader needs to be experienced in the topic to visualize what the author is stating and determine what details are relevant and irrelevant.
